One Cut Here, One Cut There

“One cut here, One cut there.

No one will see, no will care.”

He put his white mask on when no one was around.

He recited his lines in front of the mirror on a daily.

Always with a smile on, gazing back at a stranger’s reflection.

“One cut here, One cut there.

No one will see, no will care.

All it takes is a little push.

Only one bad day.

One push, and you’ll fall down to my level

from the pinnacles of your moral high ground.”

“I’ll take you to a field, beyond the ideas of right and wrong.

A field where the limit to your greed, desire, and lust knows no bounds.

A field where no one judges and no one cares.

Murder, pillage or rape it’s all fair.”

“Stop trying to find meaning in the suffering of existence.

Cease the search for logic in this utter chaos.

Just a product of your circumstances.

A piece of clay that can be molded into an angel or a devil.”

“Let’s just put a smile on that face.”

He said as he picked up the knife.

“One cut here, One cut there.

No one will see, no will care.”
